How did we start?

It all began in 2013 when Amazon announced Amazon Prime Air, A Delivery-By-Aerial-Drone Project that would deliver packages up to five pounds to any customer within a few miles.

That was the moment that Stefan Gaasbeek, our founder decided to register several hundred drone domains. And one name should be the name for the "drone empire" brand. That is 99drones!
